How dash cam parking mode works without flattening your battery

Parking mode lets a compatible dash camera monitor the vehicle after the ignition is switched off. Depending on the model, it can save footage when it detects movement, impact or a time-lapse interval.
A professional hardwire kit connects the camera to an appropriate vehicle circuit and includes low-voltage protection. That protection stops the camera drawing power once the battery reaches a configured threshold.
